Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born on April 18, 1967, in America is an actor, producer, writer, and director. Her film roles include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016). Bello has appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) and also in other roles that featured her as the star, such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) as well as Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was raised in Norristown to Kathy Bello and Joe Bello. In the field of political science, Bello majored at Villanova University. Bello developed her acting skills in several New York theater productions following graduation. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son who is named Jackson. Bello was 18 when she wrote about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She published a book, Whatever...Love Is LOVE: Examining the labels we give Ourselves, (Dey Street Books) on April 28, 2015.
