Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She served this role from 2021-2022. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously worked in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015) and as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a contributor to CNN's political coverage from 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 as a political contributor for CNN. She worked on the campaign for re-election of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was later named the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. Psaki worked as the communications director to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and also as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
