Lara Logan
Lara Logan was born 29 March 1971. She is a South African journalist, radio and television journalist. She was a CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan said that her inaccurate and politcally biased report on the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest error I've made in my 10-year watching." In 1992, she was an executive producer at Reuters Television Africa. After four years of service, she began freelance journalism. Assignments as a reporter/editor/producer for ITN, Fox/SKY News, CBS News (in London), ABC News (in Nairobi), NBC and European Broadcasting Union were all given to her. CNN was her base, and she covered events like the 1998 United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Additionally, she covered the conflict between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
